freeganism
A philosophy which promotes obtaining as much of one's food as possible from free sources, such as food thrown away by restaurants. The movement started out as an offshoot of veganism, and the term itself is a blend of free and veganism. It is also used as an example of voluntary simplicity, encompassing a broad philosophy of 'ethical eating'.

movieoke
A form of entertainment, based on karaoke, in which a person acts out scenes from a film while a silent version of it plays in the background.

retrosexual
A man who spends as little time and money as possible on his appearance. The term is the opposite of the term metrosexual (a fashionconscious heterosexual male), voted by the American Dialect Society as the word of 2003.

latte factor
A term coined by David Bach, author of The Automatic Millionaire, and now more widely used by economists to describe the apparently insignificant daily purchases which can add up to significant expenditure over time.
