Cryptic Crossword: April/May 2002

The Oxford English Dictionary (OED) and the Concise Oxford Dictionary (COD) are recommended works of reference.

Eight unclued entries are words which can be arranged to form a line from a poem in the Oxford Dictionary of Quotations. Four entries, clued by definition only, can be combined to give (with changes in spacing) the name of the poem's author. The letters in one row of the grid spell out what the line refers to; and initial letters of entries 10, 30, 14, 29, 13, 2, and 21 give the title of the poem.
