Cryptic Crossword January 2003
Ten of the clues contain a word superfluous to the clue's cryptic working. Initial letters of superfluous words spell out a two-word term (14, 15) applied in part of the Games section of the AskOxford site to words of a certain kind. An alternative term is spelt out by the superfluous words' last letters, read in reverse order. Eight unclued entries (whose unchecked letters could be arranged to give THIS ACTUAL LITTLE VERSION) are examples of 14, 15, as verified in the relevant section of the site.
