Idiom: tener (la) manga ancha
Explanation: Literally, 'to have a wide sleeve'. This idiom is used to say that someone is laid-back or easy-going. 'Tener (la) manga estrecha' (estrecho means narrow) has the opposite meaning, i.e. it is used of someone who is too strict.
Examples: 'tienen mucha manga ancha con sus empleados' - they are very easy-going with their employees
