Classic Errors and Helpful Hints

Don't say 'equally as', e.g. 'This model is equally as effective'. You can use either equally or as on its own. In sentences such as 'My new car is just as good as the old one', where two nouns are compared, you could replace just as with as, but it would be wrong to use equally.
